Shortly after graduating from high school, Michelle Carter completed the floral design course at Hixson's School of Floral Design in Lakewood, Ohio. After gaining experience at several Northeast Ohio flower shops, including Sissons, she purchased the shop in 1995. Sissons Flowers & Gifts was founded in 1939, and Michelle continues to help people express their feelings with flowers. Sissons Flowers & Gifts is a full-service florist specializing in floral arrangements featuring a wide selection of garden fresh flowers. In addition to floral arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and funerals, we offer centerpieces, gifts, inspirational items, balloons, gourmet fruit baskets, and Webkinz pets. We provide delivery service throughout all of Cuyahoga County and most of Northern Lorain County.

Brides with smaller weddings often pick up their flowers at the shop, but full service delivery is always available. We can set up the aisle runner, pew bows, pin on corsages, see the bride down the aisle, and then set up and decorate at the reception.

We also service many corporate accounts, supplying them with floral gifts for employee's birthdays and get well gifts, as well as providing beautiful floral arrangements for various corporate functions.

We will soon be moving down the street to 716 Avon Belden Road where we will have a larger display cooler and plenty of parking in the back. The new shop will have a fireplace in the showroom with an atrium-like atmosphere, all in a brand new facility.
